The CORE-556 was designed around the most widely used rifle platform in the United States. It carries forward proven design elements from the R556A1 and R556A2 in a simplified package that is easier to dedicate to a single host rifle.
At 4.75 inches, the CORE-556 remains compact while delivering the durability and gas-management characteristics expected from KGM. The suppressor installs directly to standard 1/2×28 muzzle threads and can be pinned and welded to a 12.5-inch barrel to achieve a 16-inch overall barrel length. A gas-nitride treatment and C-Series Cerakote finish provide added surface hardness and heat resistance.
